Fenced Yard! No pet fees! You want to get away from it all? Look no further for the right property to visit! The Dog House is a dog-friendly 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home with a large wrap-around deck and a fenced in yard (4' chain link). You will see and enjoy great views from the deck - beautiful trees and ridges to see and the sky is usually amazing as well. Our guests comment over and over how private, and clean, our house is.
We use natural cleaners in the home. We try and provide cruelty-free, vegan products when we can for shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
You'll have wifi, satellite tv, comfortable furniture, and plenty of space!
We are in Whispering Pines just 1/2 mile from the East Verde River if you want to go and play in the cool water. Otherwise, there are plenty of hiking trails around and the national forest right out our back yard! You won't see your neighbors, except the wildlife.
The house has a large great room complete with comfy furniture, and windows galore! The room is overlooked by the loft, which we've set up to use as a reading nook or game room. We've assembled a fairly good collection of board games to enjoy on a rainy afternoon or cold winter's night.
The kitchen is complete with all appliances, including coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher. We've stocked some basic spices as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
Wildlife sightings so far: bobcat, elk, white tail deer, raccoons, coyotes, rabbit. We've seen bear prints, but no bear yet!
We are licensed by and pay taxes to the State of Arizona for this business. We also donate 5% of our gross income to a local animal shelter.

Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Fire bans may be in effect during your stay, so we cannot guarantee the use of the outdoor fire ring. Fireworks and shooting are prohibited at all times.
Winter stays can see large snowfalls and roads are not plowed quickly since this is a rural area. While this is not typical, it is possible, so please be aware. If weather prevents you from enjoying your reserved stay, we'll work with you to reschedule. You can always purchase travel insurance if your schedule is not flexible.
