Welcome to our log cabin with new amenities. The home is off of Spring Valley Rd. in the pines of Parks, AZ, The views out the windows are of the National Forest right across the street. You will often see wildlife in this area including elk and deer. This gated cabin will be your home-away-from-home for the duration of your stay. This log cabin features wood and custom logs throughout the main areas along with custom stone work. The fluffy pillows and custom bedding will help you relax in your comfortable bed for a great nights rest. This home also features a combined great room and kitchen, a living area and dining room. A luxurious master suite located on the main floor is also part of this beautiful design. There is a large fenced-in 2 acre back yard with a deck and propane barbeque along with a fire pit for your family to enjoy. Whether you are here with your significant other for a quiet weekend, your large family for a vacation, or a group of friends for a week in the snow, we strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
This well thought out floor plan features a master suite on the main floor, a kitchen and great room, master suite bathroom and sitting room all on the main floor. The upstairs has a kids game room with ping pong table that is tucked away in the far corner for your children or friends enjoyment. By closing the door, the TV room can easily turn into another sleeping area or great area for kids to just sit back and watch TV.
Upstairs, the loft overlooks the great room and kitchen with pano-views through the upstairs windows. This common area connects to 4 more bedrooms, both furnished with queen beds, and a roomy bathroom. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs with showers to service the 4 bedrooms. A pullout queen sleeper can be found in the TV room. Overall, the 3830 square foot house offers a variety of sleeping arrangements. Extra pillows, blankets, and linens can be found throughout the house to keep you warm and cozy even during the coldest of Flagstaff’s winter nights.
Staying in this beautifully built log cabin will give you the feel of an upscale ranch or private estate with the cozy and elegant ambiance of being in our log home. Real wood stained butcher block countertops have been installed throughout the house with custom bar stools for eating that quick breakfast, and then a full-size dining se for 6. There is a pantry for storage of any items during your stay. Additionally, you will find your kitchen-away-from-home here. Complete with a custom gas range and a large refrigerator/freezer for you to enjoy a home cooked meal using the provided cutlery. The house is fitted with ceiling fans in every room to ensure your comfort during any time of the year.
The large backyard is fenced on 2 acres of the 5. The fenced area has chicken wire in the interior to keep out any small animals. There are rock walls and pine trees and open grass areas. Stepping outside will remind you easily that you are on vacation and you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate on the deck as you enjoy the morning mountain air. Later you can use the grill to prepare a home-cooked meal on the barbeque or just sit outside and enjoy the wildlife and birds.
Although we are still working to provide the perfect landscaping, the yard is very large and the ground is soft when it rains or snows. During this it is easy to track in lots of dirt and mud on your shoes. For this reason we have an exterior room with a wood burning fireplace where you can warm up and slip out of the wet shoes. We hope you enjoy an open space of 5 acres to run and play. The space is perfect for building a snowman, having the occasional snowball fight or just wanting to have lots of fun!
In addition to providing the best of the basics, there are a variety of board games, puzzles, cards, and movies for your entertainment. There are four TVs located in the Living room, TV room upstairs, dining room and TV room on the main level. Pop a DVD into the player, or enjoy classic television. If you prefer, hook up your laptop to connect to the WIFI we provide for checking email or needing to access the internet during your stay.
We also offer umbrellas and extra cold weather clothing for days when the typically beautiful Flagstaff weather turns cold and wet. The one car garage, can help offer your vehicle a place to stay dry and warm as well.
The house is located in Parks, AZ only a short drive of 18 miles to Flagstaff or Williams, AZ Parks is located right in between both towns. There are a variety of hiking trails nearby, and if you prefer something more exciting, you will find The Snowbowl about 1 hour East and the Grand Canyon a little more than an hour away via exit 165 onto Hwy 64 off I-40 in Williams, AZ and you're on your way.
Overall, we want you to enjoy your time in Parks, AZ as much as we do. There is nearby hunting, fishing or just a nice hike. You will not want to miss this area!

NotesThis is custom log cabin on a full 5 acres complete fenced. We ask you to stay on the driveway area which is huge put please note there is only 1 car garage for your use. There is plenty of parking around the garage area enough for 4 more cars. NO ATV or riding on the property at any time since it has beautiful landscaping. There is main gate entrance, a premier fence all the way around the property of 5 acres and then interior fence for the backyard area that is perfect for kids. This is where the patio furniture and fire pit are located. This area is 2 acres and the fence has the smaller chicken wire attached to the log posts so kids and creatures do not slip into the backyard area. It is a beautiful piece of property with a view of the National forest across the street and through the windows.
